Starting August 10, 2025, you will be able to complete the VIPS application for the new academic school year! If you completed the VIPS process before 8/10, you will be required to reapply after 8/10.
Are you planning on volunteering in your child’s class or attending Field Day or other in-school activities?
If so, you must first register with HISD “VIPS” – Volunteers in Public Schools!
Whether you are new to VIPS or a returning VIPS volunteer, you must CLICK HERE to register online for the 2025-2026 school year.
Once you are approved, you will be issued an ID card and lanyard from the front office.
