MIGHTY MUSTANG SPIRIT CLUB
Who: Rising 2nd and 3rd Graders

What: Introducing the inaugural WUES Mighty Mustang Spirit Club! The goal of our club is to spread school spirit and build community engagement in a fun and creative environment. The 2025 Spirit Season will run from August 5th through February 10th. Participants will get the opportunity to participate as a squad in a variety of school spirit events such as Back-To-School Night, Spirit Week Event(s), Pep-Rallies and our Centennial Parade. Our Squad will also be working throughout the year to engage with our community of West University by recruiting residents of the neighborhood to attend all of our wonderful Centennial Celebration events!

When: Our Mighty Mustangs will meet & practice Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 @ WUES.

Student Expectations: Each student will be required to purchase a WUES Spirit Uniform at an estimated cost of $200. The uniform includes full shell, skirt, bloomers & poms. Students are expected to attend practices each Tuesday after school & participate in spirit activities when available. Students will learn several cheers during the season as well as a “spirit dance” to perform at special events.

Parent Support: Each parent will be responsible for signing up to attend at least one Tuesday practice where they will provide additional supervision & snack. We will use a sign-up genius so parents can sign up for a practice that best suits their schedule.

How: Registration for the Mighty Mustang Spirit Club will open at 10AM on Friday, May 30th. Limited to 40 students. First come, first served.
