Mustang Med - Junior Medical School
What: Calling all future Medical Professionals! Mustang Med Club is coming soon for 3rd–5th graders who are eager to explore the exciting world of medicine. Students will learn basic medical skills such as taking vital signs, performing first aid and CPR, and caring for infants (like diapering and bottle feeding) through fun, hands-on activities. The goal of the club is to introduce foundational medical knowledge in an engaging and age-appropriate way, helping students understand what it takes to care for others. Toward the end of the year, members may have the opportunity to participate in a volunteer or observation field trip to see real-world applications of what they have learned.

Who: 20 students, grades 3rd-5th

When: Once a month on Thursdays starting in January
​
Where: Ms. Westerman's room
​
Student Expectations: There is a $50 club due to cover supplies and materials used throughout the year.​
