About the PTO
The West University Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is an organization committed to supporting the school administration, teachers and students. We provide the funding for many programs designed to enrich the WUES curriculum and coordinate volunteers to assist the school staff in various ways during the school year.
We have three major fundraising events: Carnival (Saturday, October 13) and Auction (Saturday, November 10) underwriting the majority of the PTO programs and Book Fair (Wednesday - Friday, November 28 - 30) benefitting the library.
As a volunteer, you can become involved in many ways. You can choose to work in the library and computer classes during the year. Our newest program in curriculum enrichment is Name that Book. We have an Art Night, Math Night, Science Night and International Festival planned for the spring, in addition to our service projects.
We'd like to invite you to get involved at WUES by becoming a member of the PTO.
